Short in stature, long in creativity, Mark’s the rare Asian who would rather crunch pixels than numbers. He burned thru way more film than he’d I’d like to admit while learning how the heck an f-stop impacted an image. After 15 years toiling in 9-5 jobs, he escaped to the world of freelancing, which he’s been doing now since 2008. In his case, the secret sauce was to be a jack of some trades and master of maybe one (or two), focusing on photography and video production and post, with a bit of motion and static graphic design thrown. So far, it’s been a journey that has allowed him to learn more about himself as a professional creative, warts and all.
